Camp Toucan guides will help you master your choice of kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, mountain biking, and other fun activities, while improving your Spanish and and exploring ancient ruins and remote Mayan villages. They will help you see monkeys and crocodiles, swim in clear jungle pools, dance to the classic Spanish ballads, and get a massage.
Whether you are traveling by water around the reef and through the mangroves, or by land through the jungle by bike or on foot, Camp Toucan guides will show you the routes. (You don't want to cut yourself on a reef, or damage the delicate coral, and you don't want to get lost in the jungle. In this environment, it doesn't make sense to do trips without a local guide.)
They will explain the exotic plants and animals on land, and the colorful fish and sea creatures of the reef. They will show you the way to mysterious temples and jungle pools, surrounded by lush foliage. They will explain the beliefs and culture of the Mayan people, ancient and modern.
The guides will form small groups, by ability level and energy level, to provide challenging trips and relaxing trips, as you choose. The cost of the trips, including guidance, will be reasonable, and you will see more, do more, and enjoy more than you would at other places.
