WARM BEACHES

Along the beaches in the Camp Toucan area, the water is as warm as a swimming pool, and it’s an attractive clear turquoise color. The white sand is made of millions of tiny hollow balls from the reef just offshore, so it does not get too hot in the sun -- it feels cooler on your feet!

These are great beaches to enjoy with your traveling companions. Wading and swimming are easy, because the reef reduces the size of the incoming waves.

At Camp Toucan you can enjoy the water any time, and you can kayak or sail along the coast, between the reef and the beach, to enjoy the scenery and get to secluded beaches and snorkeling spots.
