At Camp Toucan you will find kayaks and paddles for every type of kayaker, from beginners to long-time experts. Camp Toucan guides will show you how to kayak at a higher level.
There will be sit-on-top kayaks to use at times when you want to get on and off the kayak for snorkeling, or if you’re not ready to put your legs inside a kayak.
There will besit-inside kayaks in a range of lengths and designs, single and tandem, for when you want to cover greater distances more smoothly. And there will be surf kayaks when you are ready to surf the waves, which is a fun “whitewater” experience, in turquoise-clear water that’s swimming-pool temperature.
You'll kayak along the Caribbean coast, in protected waters between the beach and the reef. Or in clear, shallow rivers. Or in tropical lakes, where hundreds of migratory birds perch just above you.
You'll kayak to ancient Mayan ruins, coconut groves, and wildlife areas, along the Caribbean Sea and on tropical lakes.
